Roman Palylyk is a New York City-based film, television, & digital media professional with over 10 years of experience in both fiction and non-fiction content production.

Bio

 

Roman is a graduate of NYU where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree, majoring in Music Business and minoring in Producing for Film & Television at Tisch. His early credits include the 9-time Emmy Award-winning Late Show with David Letterman where he worked as a Production Coordinator until the show’s finale in 2015. He went on to join the team that launched Amazon’s live streaming division now called Amazon Live.

As a Line Producer/Production Manager at Vice Media/Refinery29, Roman ran production of award-winning narrative films, documentaries, television pilots, and branded video/podcast content. Noteworthy projects that Roman oversaw include SXSW Episodic Pilot Competition winner Embrace (2020) directed by Jessica Sanders, Cannes Film Festival selection White Echo (2019) directed by Chloë Sevigny, Sundance Film Festival selections End of the Line (2018) directed by Jessica Sanders, and One Cambodian Family Please for My Pleasure (2018) directed by A.M. Lukas, starring Emily Mortimer. In 2020, Roman Produced a feature-length documentary called “The Color of Care” directed by Academy Award nominee Yance Ford for Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions. Currently, he is working at draftLine, Anheuser-Busch’s in-house creative agency and production company, producing commercial photo and video content for their various brands.

Outside of work, Roman is an avid runner having completed multiple marathons. He also loves music and plays bass guitar in several bands.
